Flag it now, so anyone who checks it is warned

A report takes effect immediately. From that moment, every public check of the item shows it as Lost or Stolen.

Someone you trust can help

If you set up trusted contacts (up to 3), any of them can flag your item as missing from their own account. You confirm it when you're able to.

What else to do

TruOwn warns buyers. These steps protect you in other ways.

  • Report it to the police

    Give them the IMEI, VIN or serial number. Keep a copy of any report or reference you're given.

  • Call your mobile network

    Ask them to block your SIM so it can't be used, and ask whether they can block the phone's IMEI.

  • Lock or erase it remotely

    Use Google Find My Device or Apple Find My to lock the device, show a message, or erase it.

  • Change your passwords

    Starting with email, banking and social apps that were signed in on the device.

Got it back? Log in and mark the item as recovered, and its status changes to Recovered.
