TruOwn

For sellers

Show buyers it's yours to sell

Buyers are more willing to pay a fair price when they can check the item themselves. TruOwn gives them a way to do that.

Four steps to a clean sale

  1. 1.Register it before you list it

A registered item with history on TruOwn gives buyers a reason to trust you. Registration is free.

  2. 2.Upload proof of purchase

A receipt or invoice moves the item from Self-declared to Documented, which buyers see on their check.

  3. 3.Start the transfer when you've agreed a sale

Start a transfer to the buyer's phone number. They confirm with a one-time code. If they don't confirm within 24 hours, the transfer expires and the item stays yours.

  4. 4.The buyer gets a certificate

Once the buyer confirms, they can download a purchase certificate from their account. Its QR code links to the live record.

Good to know

Transfers pause for 72 hours after account changes

If you've just changed your password, phone number, email or recovery details, you can't start a transfer for 72 hours. It protects you if someone else gets into your account. Plan ahead if you're about to sell.

Once it's transferred, it's theirs

After a transfer completes you can't report that item lost or stolen. If you believe a transfer was wrong, the only route is a dispute with evidence. See the Dispute Policy.

Transfer fees are waived during launch. See pricing.
